The FAXmaker driver is configured for "Generic class 1/1.0 (Hardware flow &K3)" as follows;

From the "Advanced Modem options..." in the Device tab of device settings:

Modem Type: Generic class 1/1.0 (Hardware flow &K3)
Flow Control: Hardware (RTS/CTS)
Fax Class: 1/1.0
Voice Chipset: None
      (For DTMF automatic inbound fax routing, set Voice Chipset to Conexant)
DLE Codes Method: Indirect (flow)
DLE Codes Method: Indirect (flow)
Thread Priority: normal
Data Initialisation String: AT&F&K3
Fax Initialisation String: blank (default)
Voice Initialisation String: blank
Pre-command Delay: 1
Character Delay: unchecked

A further important setting in the "Line Options" tab of the device settings is:

Disable use of ECM if available: unchecked

Max speed and resolution should be set to the highest.
