If a single device is installed, the program does this automatically.

To do add/detect a device manually, first make sure that it is switched on and not occupied by other applications, then:

1.  Click the Settings tab   (on the taskbar) from the main view, and go to Modem > Interacting with Modem (this dialogue box is opened automatically when you start up VentaFax for the first time).

2.  Select ‘via TAPI’.

3.  From the associated drop down menu, select “RockForce***+ Port #” (where *** is the board type, e.g. ‘QUATRO’ and # is the port number you wish to assign to this line, e.g. Port 1 for Line 1).

4. You can now specify a voice command set for this modem by clicking Yes from the resulting alert box (or you go to Modem > Voice Settings later) and clicking Detect from this page – a ‘Lucent’ command set should be detected.

You can add another device to another line number by first clicking the line number from the Line selector along the bottom left of the settings dialogue box,

then repeating steps 2 to 4 for each of the devices you wish to add.
