Q2. How do I configure RockForce boards with VentaFax 8-Line Business version 5.5 ?

To change the Fax Class used by a fax device:

1. Click the Settings tab (on the taskbar) from the main view.

2. Go to Modem > Facsimile Settings.

3. Select the line number of the device by clicking the line number along the bottom left of the settings dialogue box.

4. Under Command set choose the Fax Class you want to use for the device (default is Fax Class 1.0).

VentaFax uses V.34 to send/receive by default when using Fax Class 1.0.

To enable auto answering for a line:

1. From the main view, select the line number using the line selector on the bottom left.

2. Click the Auto button - a green ‘light’ should switch on.
