There are two types of logs created by VentaFax:

General Logs

1.  From main view, click on Log Book > General in the left side panel.  The entire log will be displayed.

2.  To display only entries for received or only for sent etc, click the appropriate tab under Log Book > Predefined Reports > in the right side tab.

By default, the format for exporting logs is .csv (comma separated variables).  To change this:

1.  Click the Settings tab  (on the taskbar) in the Log Book.

2.  Click the General tab on the Settings dialogue box that appears.

3.  From here you can change the separating character on the fields, choose whether to include the field headings in the first line, etc.

To export the log:

1.  Click Export  (on the taskbar) in the Log Book.

2.  Type the name of the file and save in your desired location.

Individual Modem Activity Logs

The ‘LOG_0#.TXT’ files (where # is the Line number of the modem) are stored in ‘C:\Program Files\Venta\VentaFax & Voice 5’.
