Certification Lab for ISVs

Mainpine demands its line of fax boards perform exceptionally well with fax software applications. The company has a state-of-the-art lab facility to provide expert performance and interoperability testing. The lab provides fax server manufacturers with a way to gain an in-depth understanding of how their fax applications perform with RockForce™ intelligent fax boards in a variety of controlled yet diverse working conditions.

Lab Testing Overview

• Performed by a Mainpine field technician
• Approximately 5 -7 business days
• Over 50 fax machines, MFP (multi-function devices) and workstations
• Simulates nearly any real-world messaging environment
• High-volume load and stress testing performed on single and multi-page documents
• Administered over an extended period of time
• Tested for reliability, speed and performance on the send and receive side from various
  V.29 (9600 Kbps), V.17 (14.4 Kbps) and V.34 (33.6 Kbps) fax devices
• Used to extrapolate real-world performance figures
• Lab report and log files provided to ISV upon conclusion

Mainpine Certified Lab Report

At the conclusion of the testing, log files are analyzed and a professional document is produced for the ISV. The Mainpine Lab reports the results of the various load
and stress testing performed with Mainpine’s RockForce boards and ISVs software application.

Based upon the results of the testing, ISVs can receive a Mainpine Certification” and be listed as Mainpine certified. At their discretion, results can be shared by ISVs to their OEMs, channel partners, VARs (value-added resellers) and end-users.
